Reimbursement

Health Care insurance
To be eligible for reimbursement by your (Dutch) health care insurance, you need a referral letter from your medical doctor / general practitioner (NL: huisarts). Depending on your health care insurance provider and type of insurance, you will get 50-100% reimbursed. Please contact your insurance before you start your intake procedure about the amount/percentage which will be reimbursed and the potential remaining personal contribution.

Employer/ Company
Many employers are also willing to pay for therapeutic, coaching, training or integration sessions. You can discuss this with your company doctor, case manager, manager or HR manager. If you qualify for reimbursement by your company, we will send an invoice for the requested modality of care to your employer. These costs are deductible business expenses for the company.

Compulsory excess (NL: eigen risico)

Dutch health care insurances have a compulsory excess per calendar year. If the mental health care is eligible for reimbursement, you will pay the compulsory excess, provided that these costs haven’t already been paid for other health care services. This amount is 385 Euros or higher, depending on your agreements with the insurance company. Please check your personal status and information with your insurance.

Privately paid sessions

It’s possible to privately pay for our services. In this case, no information will be shared with your insurance company and you don’t need a referral letter from your doctor. The fees are the same as the fees for insured care and free from VAT (21%).

Invoicing and payment

Reimbursed by insurance
Invoices for reimbursed health care will be sent each month and payments are due within 14 days of billing date. You are responsible for the timely full payment of the invoice to Mindbloom and submitting the invoice to your insurance or employer for reimbursement.

Reimbursed by employer/company
If you qualify for reimbursement by your company, we will send an invoice for the requested modality of care to your employer. This invoice needs to be paid before the start of our trajectory. The costs of our trajectory are deductible for company tax.

Privately paid
If you decide to privately pay for our sessions, there are two options:

1. You can pay per session. When we have a session online or on location in ‘s-Graveland, you will receive an invoice and can pay per bank transfer after our session. 
2. You can decide to pay for a session or number of sessions beforehand. In this case, you will receive an invoice, which needs to be paid by bank transfer before we start our journey.

Cancellation and no show

Cancellation of an appointment should be done at least 48 hours in advance. Outside office hours, you can send an email to info@mindbloom.nl or leave a voicemail in which you clearly state your name, cancellation, session date, date and time of your call. If you don’t cancel an intake session on time, you will receive an invoice for € 160,- (+ 21% VAT). If you don’t show up at a meeting (no show), or cancel within 48 hours, you will be charged € 80,- (+ 21% VAT) per missed meeting. The costs of a no show or late cancellation are not reimbursed by the Dutch health care insurance.
